Do you find yourself sniffing, touching and fondling books? I want to start a discussion on book porn, or biblio-pornography and/or bibliomania. I am wondering what experiences book people have had with this kind of desire for books (I discuss book porn on my SU site here). Anything on our shared outrageous, obscene, forbidden or manic love and passion for books would be absolutely fascinating to post and read. |

Yes, I do love my books. I get a silly thrill when I get my hands on a new (to me) book. It's almost better than chocolate, though best when combined. I sneak off to somewhere private and lovingly unwrap my prize. If it's late, I try to hold off till the next day especially if I have to be up early for work, but sometimes, I'm seduced into just one chapter... then another.. then it's 3am and I'm still buzzing. |
